Video: West Brom’s James McClean Celebrates Christmas Three Days Early

Most kids dream of being able to open their Christmas presents early instead of waiting until the big December 25.

And that dream came true this year for James McClean’s two young children.

McClean’s Family Christmas

The West Brom midfielder uploaded an adorable video to Instagram today as the McClean family celebrated Christmas three days earlier than usual.

Santa had clearly gotten the memo from the Republic of Ireland star as the video showed two bundles of pressies all wrapped up and waiting for the kids on the couch.

Although, as joyful as the occasion looked, it also seems bittersweet for the Baggies ace.

He revealed in the post that the reason they were celebrating Christmas early was down to his wife and kids returning home to Ireland to be with the rest of their family.

Festive Fixtures

While McClean’s family fly back to Ireland for the festive holidays, he’s got some busy Premier League business to attend to.

Tony Pulis’ side travel to the Emirates on Boxing Day to take on Arsenal.

Despite a decent start to the season which sees them currently occupy eighth spot, they go into the game on the back of a defeat to Manchester United.
