Video: Zlatan Ibrahimovic Lays on Subtle Assist For Daley Blind’s Goal

He’s usually amongst the goals for Manchester United, but Swedish striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic turned provider this afternoon for team-mate Daley Blind to pop-up with a rare goal.

Zlatan was leading the line for the Red Devils at home to David Moyes’ Sunderland, and after an initial frustrating period for Jose Mourinho’s men, Holland international Blind struck home sweetly just before half-time.

The 26-year-old forayed forward from defence to smash the ball past a helpless Jordan Pickford in the Sunderland goal, however he owed a lot to Zlatan’s assist.

There wasn’t much too it, but look how subtly the former Barcelona and Inter Milan forward just lays the ball into Blind’s path:

A win against the Black Cats would mark United’s twelfth match unbeaten in all competitions and a fourth consecutive victory in the Premier League.
