Absolutely Nobody Is Taking Bournemouth’s Loan Offer For John Terry Seriously

Absolutely Nobody Is Taking Bournemouth’s Loan Offer For John Terry Seriously

It’s January and that means another transfer window for Premier League teams to overspend on overpriced players.

However, while many clubs will actually do some sensible business this month, silly season is well and truly in full flow.

Tonight’s latest transfer rumour is Chelsea captain John Terry moving to Bournemouth in a loan move until the end of the season.

Sky Sports Tweeted earlier that their the Cherries had enquired about the possibility of taking Terry for the remainder of the campaign.

At 36, Terry has found himself something of a backup player at Chelsea now and has only made eight appearances this season – including Saturday’s 4-1 win over Peterborough where he was sent off for a ridiculous challenge.

However, despite his lack of game time, many people still believe Terry will not leave Chelsea and will want to stay on until the club win the league in May.

If Terry believes there’s a chance of running on the park in full kit to lift the Premier League trophy then I doubt we will see him in a Bournemouth jersey anytime soon.
