Adama Traore to Chelsea Has to Be the Most Ridiculous January Transfer Story

Adama Traore to Chelsea has to be the most ridiculous story of the January transfer window? Surely?

According to Sky Sports News HQ, Chelsea have enquired about the possibility of signing the pacy Spanish winger from Middlesbrough this month:

And that comes after his first 14 games for Boro, in which he’s not scored any goals or made any assists for his team-mates.

Traore has looked good at time, terrorising defences with his pace and providing more than a decent out-ball for Aitor Karanka’s side.

But he’s got serious issues with his final ball – as his season stats show – and that makes the story that Chelsea are interested in the winger even more unbelievable.

We’re not the only ones – plenty more fans can’t get their head around Antonio Conte feeling like the former Aston Villa and Barcelona man would be a good addition to the Stamford Bridge squad:

Chelsea fans – what’s your view? Would Traore fit?
