Didier Drogba Returns to Chelsea Training to Catch Up With Old Pals

Didier Drogba was back at Chelsea training this week to catch up with some of his old team-mates.

The legendary former Stamford Bridge striker won’t be back playing with Montreal Impact in the upcoming MLS season so has a bit of time on his hands to see some old friends.

And Chelsea have shared a picture of his visit to their Cobham training base this week, where he posed for a picture alongside Cesc Fabregas, Diego Costa, Willian and John Terry:

Usually you’d see the same old stories about Drogba making a shock Chelsea return, but, at 38, we doubt Antonio Conte would be interested in bringing the Ivorian back to the club for his third stint there.

Instead, he was simply back for a catch-up and should make a decision on his future in the coming weeks.

At least with the picture above, Chelsea fans can dream about a team with all of those players at the peak of their powers.
