The FA is seriously investigating one of Bacary Sagna’s Instagram posts after Manchester City‘s win over Burnley yesterday.
Seriously.
That’s because Sagna chose to write ’10 against 12′ in the caption of his post-match picture on Instagram – a possible reference to the referee’s performance in the game.
There was some controversy in the game when referee Lee Mason showed Fernandinho a 32nd-minute red card when he smashed Johann Guðmundsson with a two-footed tackle.
It’s difficult to argue with Mason’s call on the foul, as the Brazilian midfielder does catch his opponent on the ankle with both feet.

The Frenchman first posted this:
But he quickly changed the caption to get rid of the ’10 v 12′ part:
Now it’s been revealed that the FA is investigating Sagna for his Instagram post, giving him until 5pm this Friday to respond.
Seriously:
FA confirms it has asked Sagna for his observations regarding the instagram post. He has until 5pm on Friday to respond.
