Manchester United Fans Are Delighted Antonio Valencia Has Signed a New Deal

Manchester United fans are delighted that Antonio Valencia has signed a new deal at the club.

The Ecuadorian has been an ever-present for the team this term, being converted consistently to a right back under Jose Mourinho.

He’s made 22 appearances so far and looks on course to challenge his best appearance total in the eight seasons he’s had so far at the club.

And Valencia will have another year to build on after United announced that he’s signed a contract extension until the summer of 2018:

United fans are definitely delighted with the news that the winger turned full back has extended his contract.

And they’ve taken to Twitter to share their reaction to the new deal:

Valencia will be hoping he can help United achieve success in Mourinho’s first season at the club – and add to the seven major trophies the Ecuadorian has already won with the club since signing from Wigan in 2009.

What’s your view – does Valencia deserve his new deal?
