Manchester United‘s Under-23 side did what the senior team couldn’t quite manage by beating Liverpool in their latest league fixture.

To make the victory at Liverpool’s iconic Anfield stadium even sweeter, the Red Devils nicked all three points in their Premier League 2 fixture in the 93rd minute – a section of that game that is now commonly referred to as ‘Fergie Time’.

Following a largely dour and drab match that the away side largely dominated, United stole victory right at the death courtesy of a last-gasp header from Matty Willock, after a brilliant cross from Sean Goss.

Surely this’ll be a moment the youngster will never forget until the day he dies:

The drama was heightened firstly with just over 10 minutes to go, when Reds keeper Shamal George had saved a penalty kick after Callum Gribben was hauled down in the area.

But the shot-stopper’s efforts went to waste following Willock’s late finish.

We hope you were watching, Jose.
