New Signing Cohen Bramall Makes ‘Solid’ Arsenal Debut in Under-23 Match

Arsenal‘s new signing Cohen Bramall made a confident and composed debut this evening for the Gunners’ Under-23 side.

As we told you at the time, the exciting 20-year-old left-back became Arsenal’s first and only official piece of transfer business so far this month when he moved to the Emirates earlier this month in a surprise £40,000 transfer from non-league side Hednesford Town.

And it seems he’s settling into life as a Gooner rather nicely from what we’ve heard so far.

It was expected that Bramall would spend a bit of time playing for the club’s youth teams and he played 83 minutes against Southampton at the Saints’ Staplewood Training Ground.

According to Football London, Bramall endured a few nervy moments early on but went on to enjoy a solid enough debut, and showed glimpses of his electric pace and undoubted quality.

Arsene Wenger loves bringing through a youngster – but will Bramall be a star of the future?
