A Rangers supporter went to the bother of taking some water and a cloth to Ibrox today so he could wash his seat after a Celtic fan sat in it on Hogmanay.
As is the norm when the Hoops visit Ibrox, thousands of Gers supporters lose their seats to accommodate the travelling support.
George Lennie was among those, missing out on attending the Hogmanay clash, which Celtic won 2-1.
So he was back at Ibrox today for Rangers’ game against Motherwell, their first since that defeat to their rivals three weeks ago.
And he decided to have a little dig at his rivals by taking some water and a cloth to give his seat a clean.
A picture of him doing it was posted on popular fans’ Facebook page The Blue Sea of Ibrox:
This should get a laugh from even the most passionate Celtic fans – but we’re sure there will be plenty who don’t see the funny side of it.
It was a winning return to Ibrox for Rangers as they beat Motherwell 2-1 to make it into the fifth round of the Scottish Cup.
