The Hoops’ stadium succumb to brutal weather in the east end of Glasgow, and part of the green sheet metal from the outer side of the Jock Stein stand appears to have fallen off, as shown in the photo above.
The incident is rather ironic considering groups of Celtic supporters were starting a campaign for fellow fans to wear hard hats to Rangers’ Ibrox stadium for their fixture last month, citing problems with the Govan ground’s roof and Rangers’ inability to fix it.
As you can imagine, the revelation that it’s actually Celtic’s stadium which is need of a touch-up has been rather satisfying to an element of the Gers support:
