Talkingbaws Tipsters Face Off With the Weekend’s Best Bets

Last weekend saw two narrow slip-ups for our tipsters, meaning Craig Borland retains his 3-2 lead over Ryan Donnelly going into the first weekend of the New Year.

We have two very adventurous 9/1 and 6/1 trebles to bring you this weekend.

Here are this weekend’s tips, with fantastic odds brought to you by our betting partner Ladbrokes.

BET 1 – TREBLE @ 9/1 (CRAIG BORLAND

My first bet this week is SOUTHEND V SHEFF UTD BTTS @ 17/20. Southend are unbeaten at home since late August and come up against a Sheff Utd team top of the league and not shy of a goal.

My next bet takes me to Scotland and  QUEENS PARK V AIRDRIE OVER 2.5 GOALS @ 10/11. Queens have only lost once in their last 5 at home and Airdrie once in their last 6 away so I’m expecting a few goals here.

Finally, we head for the FA Cup and OVER 3.5 GOALS IN THE MATCH BETWEEN MILLWALL AND BOURNEMOUTH. Both teams are very attack minded and also very uncertain at the back, so with the magic of the FA Cup I fancy another cracker at The Den.

BET 2 – TREBLE @ 6/1 (RYAN DONNELLY)

Starting this weeks treble off with a more obscure choice, taking in the Australian A league match between Adelaide and Melbourne Victory. The bet this weekend is MELBOURNE THE FIRST TEAM TO SCORE 2 OR MORE GOALS @5/4. Victory haven’t lost in their last 8 games, scoring over 2 goals in all but one of those matches. They play bottom of the table Adelaide who have yet to record a victory in the last 6 matches.

Next bet is from English League 1 and a team who always manage a goal or two, BRISTOL ROVERS TO SCORE OVER 2.5 GOALS @8/11. Considering Bristol have registered 11 goals in their last 5 matches, goals should be guaranteed in this one.

The final bet comes from League 2 in Scotland and going for FORFAR OVER 1.5 TEAM GOALS @8/11. Again, Forfar are another side who have no difficulty in finding the back of the net, with 15 goals in their last 5 matches, propelling them to the top of the table. They are the league’s highest scorers, with three of their attacking trio nabbing 21 goals between them this season.

TIP-OFF SCORE: BORLAND 3-1 DONNELLY

Keep updated with all of their bets @talkingbets.
