He hardly plays for Manchester United now, but when he does it’s usually as a right-back, so his goalscoring and creating days appear over.

What this is about is Young not losing the ability to dive, despite 31 and lacking game time at Old Trafford.

Jose Mourinho made a host of changes to his team for the visit of Reading in the FA Cup this afternoon and Young was among those to come into the team at right-back.

In case you forgot, Young has earned a reputation for going down easily throughout his career – just take a look at this if you need reminding of the many controversial incidents involving the United man.

Fortunately this wasn’t in the Reading penalty box and had no real impact on the game. But it’s good to know he’s still got it.
