Video: Barcelona Striker Luis Suarez Scores Stunning Goal in Copa Del Rey

Luis Suarez continued to cement his reputation as one of the world’s best out-and-out strikers tonight by scoring his 100th goal for Barcelona in sensational style.

The Catalan club went into tonight’s second-leg tie against Athletic Bilbao at the Nou Camp 2-1 down from last week’s match in the Basque country but with players like Suarez in their starting line-up, Barca were probably still favourites to progress.

And before half-time, the former Liverpool striker levelled the aggregate score by perfectly judging a cross into the penalty area from Neymar and launching an exquisite first-time volley past the helpless goalkeeper:

Remarkably, Suarez has now bagged an incredible 100 goals in just 120 appearances since departing the Premier League in the summer of 2014.

Suarez turns 30 later this month, but regardless of his age, surely the Uruguayan is the greatest ‘No.9’ on the planet at the moment?

What do you think?
