Stefan Johansen continued his excellent form for Fulham in the FA Cup this afternoon, scoring against Cardiff City in the club’s third round victory.
The Norwegian midfielder left Celtic for Craven Cottage during the summer transfer window, after it became apparent he wouldn’t feature in Brendan Rodgers’ plans for the forthcoming season.
But Johansen has managed to establish himself as one of the English Championship’s most exciting attacking midfielders in just a few short months.
His strike this afternoon may have been a simple finish from close range but it was his fifth goal in his last seven matches in all competitions:

Johansen was Celtic’s Player of the Year back in 2015 but a disappointing campaign last season saw him often coming in for criticism from Hoops supporters and Ronny Deila’s exit as manager spelled the beginning of the end for the 25-year-old.
But did Celtic perhaps let him go too soon? If he keeps up this kind of form, a big-money move to the English Premiership isn’t inconceivable.
