Video: Leeds Rhinos Prop Keith Galloway Talks Love For Celtic Ahead of Hearts Match

Keith Galloway joined the ranks of celebrity Celtic fans this afternoon after attending his first match at Parkhead, and spoke of his support for the Scottish champions before the match.

The Sydney-born prop currently plays for Rugby League side Leeds Rhinos and is known for his breath-taking power and strength, but despite representing Australia at international level, Galloway is proud of his Scottish ancestry.

His father was born and raised in Scotland before immigrating to Australia in his 20s, and that might go someway to explaining Galloway’s fondness for Brendan Rodgers’ side.

As he explained outside the ground before today’s Premiership match against Hearts, Galloway has seen the Hoops at Hampden and Ibrox previously, but fulfilled a life-long dream by taking in a game in the east end of Glasgow:

Rod Stewart, Billy Connolly, Gerard Butler… and Keith Galloway – it has a nice ring to it, eh?

It’s probably fair to say some Celtic supporters will be keeping an eye on the Leeds Rhinos’ results from now on.
