Video: Tottenham’s Squad Have Sent Ryan Mason a Personal Video Message

Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino has revealed he and his squad of players have sent a get well soon video message to stricken Hull City midfielder Ryan Mason.

Mason, who came through the ranks at Spurs before moving to Hull last summer, suffered a fractured skull after a blood-curdling challenge with Chelsea defender Gary Cahill on Sunday, and was forced to undergo emergency surgery.

As you can see in the video above, Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettino addressed the incident in his weekly press conference ahead of the FA Cup tie with Wycombe on Saturday, and revealed the video gesture.

Pochettino and his squad spent the start of the week taking part in some warm-weather training in Barcelona, which is why they’re only visiting Mason now.

It remains to be seen how long Mason will need before returning to top-flight action, but he’ll surely be buoyed by the support he’s received throughout the game, particularly from his former club.

Nice touch, lads.
