Video: West Ham Fans Stunned By Sofiane Feghouli’s Sitter v Man City

West Ham United supporters were left stunned on Friday night after witnessing one of their players miss arguably the easiest chance of the season.

The Hammers faced Manchester City in the FA Cup third round at the London Stadium and found themselves 3-0 down at half-time after a blistering display from Pep Guardiola’s side.

However, things could have been very different had Sofiane Feghouli taken his gilt-edged chance.

The score was just 1-0 when the Algerian international reacted quickest to Willy Caballero’s save, but with the goal gaping, he somehow managed to screw his shot wide of the post:

There was a slight suggestion of a foul on Feghouli just before he makes contact with the ball but regardless of any tackle, he should really be doing a lot better from just a couple of yards out.

Needless to say, onlooking fans were horrified:

Was it really that bad? Was it the worst miss of the season?
