Arsenal Fans Are Now Lamenting the Fact They Missed Out on Jurgen Klopp

Some Arsenal fans are lamenting the fact their club missed out on securing Jurgen Klopp as manager to keep Arsene Wenger, following last night’s thrashing at the hands of Bayern Munich.

The Gunners were trounced 5-1 in Bavaria in the Champions League last-16 first-leg, and it could be a result which proves to be the end of the road for Wenger at the Emirates.

The Frenchman’s contract runs out in the summer and there now seems to be a growing proportion of the Arsenal fanbase turning against him.

Naturally, the thought of one manager leaving has prompted supporters to consider who might come in as a replacement, and many are upset at the fact Jurgen Klopp is no longer an option.

The German was once touted as a potential Wenger successor, but Liverpool managed to get in there first:

Of course, you never know what could happen in football, but it definitely seems unlikely that Klopp will be available again any time soon.

Would he have been the perfect fit for Arsenal?
