Happy Birthday Gordon Strachan! Here Are His Top 6 Funniest Moments

Scotland boss Gordon Strachan is celebrating his 60th birthday today.

And while some fans haven’t been impressed with his performance during the recent qualifying campaign for the World Cup in 2018, we can surely all admit that the pint-sized Scotsman is one of the funniest managers in the game.

Having held the top job at Celtic, Middlesbrough, Southampton and Coventry City, Strachan is both well-travelled and well-versed in front of the cameras.

Whether it’s giving a comical post-match interview or for his impressive work as a pundit, Strachan always seems to be in top form when it comes to making us all laugh.

So what better way to celebrate Strachan’s 60th birthday than to take a look back at his funniest moments…

1. Narrating Arsene Wenger’s Sending Off

This one comes from Strachan’s time as a pundit on Match of the Day, with the former Scotland midfielder analysing Arsenal’s performance vs Manchester United back in 2009.

Arsene Wenger was sent off during the match and while most pundits would rip into the Arsenal boss, Strachan decided to employ a more light-hearted approach by mocking the officials.
