Hibs have been taking plenty of stick tonight after reports said they’re closing to an emergency loan deal for Efe Ambrose.
Several news outlets have reported this evening that the Nigerian defender is set for a move to Easter Road for the next 93 days.
He had signed for Blackburn Rovers at the end of January, but work permit issues saw that called off today.
And now Ambrose is heading for Hibs after Lennon deemed the injuries to Paul Hanlon, Liam Fontaine and Jordan Forster as an emergency.
The Nigerian defender has been no stranger to criticism throughout his time at Celtic Park, but has still won four league titles, one Scottish Cup and a League Cup.
He’s also been a regular for Celtic in Europe up until Brendan Rodgers’ arrival at the club last summer.
Lennon – who signed him at Celtic – is obviously a fan and keen to add him to the squad as they chase the Championship title and automatic promotion to the Premiership.
But Hibs have been taking stick from rival fans all night over the Ambrose signing:
Hibs fans – are you happy to get Ambrose on board?
