Landry N’Guémo Seems to Really Miss Being a Celtic Player

You might not fully remember Landry N’Guémo’s brief stint at Celtic but the midfielder certainly remembers his time in Glasgow fondly, as his recent social media posts show.

The Cameroon international, 31, currently plays for Turkish side Kayserispor but enjoyed a short loan spell in Glasgow back in the 2009/2010 season under Tony Mowbray, and eventually Neil Lennon.

N’Guemo looked like a gem of a discovery when he first broke into the Hoops first-team, particularly during a Champions League qualifier against Dinamo Moscow, but his imposing performances became less and less consistent as the campaign wore on and Lennon decided not to turn his move into a permanent one.

In total, N’Guemo made just 30 league appearance for Celtic before signing for Bordeaux but he seems to have cherished his time with the club – and some supporters seem to remember him fondly:

Did Celtic perhaps get rid of N’Guemo slightly too soon? What do you think?
