10:00 A.M. CT – East St. Louis (East St. Louis, Illinois) wide receiver Jeff Thomas announces commitment to Miami (FL)
Thomas, a consensus top-100 player in the nation, top-10 receiver, and top-three player in the state of Illinois was deciding between Miami, Michigan, Alabama, Missouri, and Illinois. In September, Thomas said Alabama and Missouri were his top schools, but that apparently changed following an aggressive push from Mark Richt’s team. The 5’10,” 175-pound four-star recruit is a big get for Miami, which holds the second best 2017 recruiting class behind Florida State. Miami’s ’17 class is predominantly ranked in the early teens nationally by most recruiting websites.
