A Rangers fan who took to Twitter to claim that he had FaceTimed Mark Warburton has confirmed it was set up.
A phone number for the former Rangers manager had been doing the rounds on social media with many posting voice clips of the mailbox which was full.
However, one fan claimed to have gone a step further by having a video chat with the 54-year-old.
Twitter user AJRMitchell1872 posted a screenshot of what looked to be a FaceTime conversation between himself and Warburton.
He then claimed that Warburton even called him a “little prick” during their chat with the Tweet quickly going viral.

But the Gers fan has now confirmed that it was all a prank and took to Twitter to share exactly how he managed to convince just about everyone that he had FaceTimed the Englishman.
A quick Google search, some snipping tools and a personal selfie were enough to put together a fake video call with Warburton who, if you look closely enough, could clearly be seen in Rangers clothing.
