Scottish football fans aren’t happy that tonight’s Edinburgh derby won’t be televised live.
Hearts travel to Hibs in a Scottish Cup fifth round replay after their previous clash ended 0-0 at Tynecastle a week-and-a-half ago.
That game wasn’t up to much, with both teams struggling to play football on an awful pitch at the home of the Jambos.
But fans still want to see the replay at Easter Road – with neutral supporters particularly annoyed about the situation.
It won’t be shown live because UEFA have a live broadcast blackout when Champions League games are played – and two of those are on tonight with Porto playing Juventus while Leicester take on Sevilla in the last 16.
How many fans would have watched one of those instead of the Hibs-Hearts game IF it had been televised? We’d be surprised if there were very many judging by the reaction to the news the game isn’t on TV:
