McLeish is at the top of some bookmakers’ odds as the man to replace outgoing boss Mark Warburton, who departed the club in acrimonious circumstances on Friday night.
Of course, a former Gers manager himself, McLeish was asked live on Sky before the match if he’d welcome an approach to resume his old post, and he certainly didn’t say no:

Also in the frame for the job appears to be Billy Davies, although fans would surely been keen on McLeish, given he is a former treble winner for the club, and has knowledge of what it takes to manage a club of Rangers’ size.
But what do you think? Does Eck sound desperate for the call? Or should the club’s hierarchy look for somebody completely fresh to take over?
