Video: Danny Drinkwater Scores Stunning Half-Volley Against Liverpool to Put Leicester 2-0 Up

Danny Drinkwater has scored a stunning half-volley against Liverpool this evening as Leicester get used to life without Claudio Ranieri.

The Foxes stunned the footballing world last week as they dismissed the Italian – less than a year after he guided them to the most sensational title win in recent history.

Leicester managed to grab a vital away goal through Jamie Vardy in their Champions League last 16 clash against Sevila last Wednesday.

But on Thursday night, the club released a statement stating that they had parted ways with the 2016 FIFA Manager of the Year.

It came as a shock to most, however, it may prove to be the correct decision in the long run with the Foxes leading 3-1 in tonight’s clash against Liverpool.

Jamie Vardy fired them into the lead before Danny Drinkwater made it 2-0 with this stunning half-volley.

Vardy doubled his own tally with half an hour to go before Philippe Coutinho pulled one back for Jurgen Klopp’s side.
