Video: Eric Gordon Beat Kyrie Irving in an Amazing NBA Three-Point Contest

Eric Gordon swept the floor with Kyrie Irving in a scintillating NBA three-point contest during All-Star Weekend in New Orleans.

The pair advanced to the final round of the contest, with each player having scored 20 points.

This meant a tie-breaker was required, resulting in an exhilarating straight shoot-out between the duo to decide the winner.

Cleveland Cavaliers star Irving shot first, and he looked in imperious form as he scored an impressive 18 points.

Irving’s star placed the pressure firmly on Gordon’s shoulders with the Houston Rockets guard desperate to keep up with the pace.

Amazingly, Gordon refused to crumble as he scored 21 points and won the prestigious title for the first time in his nine-year NBA career:

Gordon’s win might not come as a huge surprise to some fans, especially considering Irving came out with some peculiar comments earlier this week, claiming the earth is actually flat.
