The Motherwell assistant manager was put in front of the press this morning to preview their clash with the Hoops in the Scottish Premiership tomorrow.
That shouldn’t come as a surprise given the news surrounding McGhee and his clash with Dons supporters after being sent to the stands at the end of his side’s 7-2 defeat to Aberdeen at Pittodrie on Wednesday night.
An already angry McGhee didn’t take kindly to a fan recording him as he walked up into the stand and his reaction was posted online before going viral.
So it was McFadden who faced the media – and after swatting away a number of tricky questions about the incident as well as the performance of referee Alan Muir, the former Well player also spoke about the regular links to Celtic throughout his career:

Like the reporter says, there was a time when McFadden was linked with Celtic during every transfer window, but it never materialised in a career that took him from Motherwell to Everton, Birmingham, Sunderland and St Johnstone before ending up back at Fir Park.
