Video: Jamie Vardy Ends Dry Spell With Slick Goal Against Sevilla

Jamie Vardy rediscovered his scoring touch for Leicester City tonight in the Champions League against Sevilla, just when his team-mates needed him most.

The England international bagged 24 goals on the way to the Foxes winning the Premier League last season, but this campaign has seen the 30-year-old’s form dip remarkably.

With Leicester currently sitting just one point outside the relegation zone, Vardy has found the net in nine matches – dating back to his hat-trick against Man City on December 10.

But tonight, trailing 2-0 to the talented La Liga outfit, Vardy reacted quickly to a brilliant cross from Danny Drinkwater, and coolly slotted the ball home from close range:

Few people gave Leicester a chance of progressing to the quarter-finals, particularly given their recent form, but an away goal can be absolutely crucial in two-legged European ties.

And could that goal reignite a scoring run for Vardy?
