Lyon have risked upsetting football fans all over the world after it was revealed the French club are taking a 15-year-old supporters to court for taking a selfie with players on the pitch.
The unnamed teenager ran onto the pitch whilst his side’s 4-2 win over Dijon was still going on last week, and proceeded to grab Memphis Depay and Alexandre Lacazette for a quick selfie.
Both are Lyon’s most high-profile and arguably best players, so you can understand why he’d run to those players, but it seems the lad has upset a lot of people with his stunt.
The news was revealed during tonight’s edition of BT Sport European Football Show:

We have no idea how much this could end up costing him, but it certainly could turn out to be one very expensive selfie.
What do you think of a football club worth hundreds of millions suing a 15-year-old schoolboy for a pretty pathetic reason like this?
