Video: Man Utd Prodigy Angel Gomes Scores Another Cracker For Under-18s

He’s been making waves in the Manchester United youth team for some time, and the exciting Angel Gomes added another spectacular goal to his cannon at the weekend.

Already an England Youth international, the 16-year-old has been earmarked for big things this season at Old Trafford, and his recent performances seem to back-up his bright reputation.

We’ve told you previously about brilliant goals scored by Gomes whilst learning his trade in the Red Devils’ youth ranks, and he showed the kids at Wolves exactly how good he was on Saturday.

Picking the ball up on the left wing, Gomes proceeded to rampage his way towards the goal, forcing defender after defender to back off, before coolly stroking the ball into the far corner:

Gomes and his team-mates went on to win the match 3-0, but there’s no doubting his goal was the definite highlight.

Given Marcus Rashford’s surprise breakthrough last season, perhaps it won’t be too long before Gomes is playing on the big stage.

What do you think of his goal?
