Video: Should Celtic Fans Be Angry About Tackle That Injured James Forrest?

Some Celtic supporters appear angry about the tackle that forced James Forrest off after just six minutes of their game against Hamilton today.

Brendan Rodgers named the tricky winger in his starting XI for the visit of Accies to Celtic Park this afternoon, but he only lasted 10 minutes following a strong tackle from Danny Redmond.

A lot was made of the tackle from Motherwell’s Ryan Bowman on Kieran Tierney last weekend so the challenge on Forrest was bound to get some attention – particularly because of the result.

But should fans be angry at Redmond – or was it a fair challenge from the Hamilton man?

Given Forrest’s reaction, it’s hard to see him making a quick recovery from the knee injury and it’s more likely he’ll spend some time on the sidelines before getting back to full fitness.
