Alexis Sanchez continued his excellent scoring form this season by finding the net against Hull City this afternoon – but the referee somehow missed the fact he scored with his hand.
The Chilean forward now has 18 goals from 32 appearances this season, but after looking back at the replays, Hull boss Marco Silva will feel bitterly disappointed it wasn’t ruled out by officials.
He can’t do too much to get out of the way, but there’s absolutely no doubt Sanchez has used his hand to gain a pretty big advantage in the game – and score the opening goal:

With Hull City fighting for their Premier League status at the bottom of the table, it’s decisions like that that could easily contribute to your side being relegated come May.
What do you think of the incident? Should it have been ruled out or is Sanchez unlucky it hits his hand?
