Ryan Christie scored a wonder goal against Motherwell last night – and our first story reporting it definitely didn’t do the strike justice.
The on-loan Aberdeen midfielder was impressive as his new side beat the Steelmen 7-2 at Pittodrie last night.
It was a commanding performance from Derek McInnes’ men on a night when everything they tried came off.

And Christie’s goal was the pick of it all as he curled home a beautiful strike with his left foot from the edge of the box.
Considering he didn’t take a touch and it was set up to strike on his stronger right foot, the former Inverness man used his left to somehow swerve the ball up and into the top corner, leaving Craig Samson with no chance.
We showed you a quick clip of the goal last night, but the angle didn’t do justice to how good it was from Christie:

Christie now has two goals in three games for Aberdeen and quickly showing he can make a big impact with the Dons during his loan spell from Celtic until the end of the season.
So that goal will delight both fans of Aberdeen and his parent club Celtic.
