The Gunners are still reeling from their annihilation at the hands of the German giants in the Champions League last week, with Carlo Ancelotti’s star-studded side running out 10-2 winners on aggregate.

Both 5-1 hammerings felt like a watershed moment for Arsene Wenger and his squad, but they’ll have to do it all again in-front of a packed crowd in China on July 19.
As the news was announced, Gooners all across the country were probably praying and wishing that they could just be playing anybody else:
@Arsenal Why, because being embarrassed by Bayern is a worldwide sideshow now?

@Arsenal Is this a Joke? More embrassment

Aren’t 10 goals enough? No need to be beaten by 20 goals more.

Of course, we have no idea who’ll be Arsenal manager by then.
Perhaps they’ll manage to snare a super coach who actually has the tactical nous (or magic wand) required to pull off a win over Bayern Munich.
Either way, maybe July 19 is just a day that Gunners fans should keep out of the diary – and perhaps try and just block out completely.
