Celtic Defender Mikael Lustig Brands Barcelona’s Neymar The Biggest ‘Actor’ in Football

Celtic defender Mikael Lustig has took another dig at Barcelona forward Neymar, stating he is football’s biggest actor.

Lustig and Neymar clashed throughout Barcelona’s 2-0 victory over the Hoops back in November in the Champions League.

After a meaty challenge from the Brazilian, the pair clashed and Lustig was quick to slam him following the final whistle.

Lustig said: “There weren’t any heavy tackles, it was just two guys who moaned at each other. It was nothing special.

“He’s better than me, so to compete you try to stay close and sometimes you need to pull tricks and get into his head” according to the Daily Record.

But the right-back seems to still hold a grudge for the Barca attacker after branding him the biggest actor in football.

In an interview with Swedish media outlet Expressen, when asked who was the biggest diver in the game, Lustig responded: “Neymar. He always falls very light, you can barely touch him.”

If Celtic qualify for the Champions League group stage again next season, you can bet your bottom dollar they’ll be drawn against Barcelona which should be interesting.
