Celtic fans are absolutely delighted this afternoon after Tom Rogic returned to training following his long battle against injury.
The Australian international marked himself out as one of the club’s standout performers under Brendan Rodgers during the first half of the season, but hasn’t played since facing Dundee on December 17.
In fact, Rogic’s ankle injury was so severe that he required surgery, and it remained unclear whether or not he’d even be able to appear again this season.
But supporters were over the moon when the club tweeted photographs of the latest training session, and the mercurial playmaker could be seen strutting his stuff.
Manager Brendan Rodgers also provided an update on when we’re likely to see him back in competitive action:
? BR on @Tom_Rogic :"Great to have him back, won't be for the weekend. Can see his level back on training field, creativity we haven't had."
