Chelsea Fans Will Be Seriously Divided By Leaked Images of New Home Kit

Chelsea‘s new home kit for the 2017/2018 season has apparently been leaked online but we’re not entirely sure that fans will be entirely behind the proposed design.

The Blues are about to go into the first season of a multi-million pound deal with American giants Nike, after severing all ties and ending a decade-long partnership with Adidas.

The contract with Nike is reportedly worth around £60 million per season to Antonio Conte’s side, but the staggering amount of money won’t be worth much to fans if they don’t like the jerseys.

And the image doing the rounds on social media this evening is more than likely to divide opinion amongst supporters:

The diamond grid pattern on the shirt is similar to the one employed on the Chelsea home kit worn between 1987-89.

But how do you think this design will go down with a modern fanbase? Will Chelsea fans snap it up?
