He admitted that the performance wasn’t good enough from the Gunners and they’d have to battle through their problems to continue fighting for the top four and success in the FA Cup.
But did he forget about what led to the third goal in the game when he mentioned Arsenal need to start heading the ball away at set pieces.
Two of West Brom’s goals came from corners, with Craig Dawson netting both of them. And it was Oxlade-Chamberlain who lost the big defender for his second of the day.
Maybe Oxlade-Chamberlain forgot about that when he said this?
Interviewer: what should you have done differently on the set pieces?
Oxlade-Chamberlain laughs ruefully: "headed the ball away?!"

Jamie Carragher summed up our reaction to that:
Will Oxlaide mention he should've been stronger & blocked Dawson for the 3rd from the corner rather than talking about someone heading it?!!

Unfortunately for Oxlade-Chamberlain and his Arsenal team-mates, their top four hopes took a big hit with today’s result at the Hawthorns.
They sit five points behind Liverpool in fifth and only have one game in hand over their rivals now so they’ll need to improve their form immediately or else risk missing out on Champions League football next season.
