Everyone is Raving About Fraser Aird After His Performance Against Scotland

Fraser Aird was the name on everybody’s lips as Scotland were held to a disappointing draw at home to Canada tonight.

Formerly of Rangers and now with Falkirk in the Scottish Championship, Aird was actually eligible to play for Scotland before making his Canada bow, and might’ve had Gordon Strachan wishing he was wearing dark blue after he gave the visitors a deserved lead after just 10 minutes.

In truth, the goal was more about slack defending, rather than exciting attacking play, but Aird was at the heart of everything positive for the Canadians at Easter Road.

In the first-half, he gave Lee Wallace a torrid time at left-back, and kept his replacement Andy Robertson pinned back in the second.

There was little doubt that Aird was the star man, and he was given his dues by onlookers on social media:

What do you think of Aird’s performance, and the reaction on Twitter?
