Video replay has been used for the first time in European football this evening with France the victims.
Antoine Griezmann looked to have given his side the lead during their international friendly against Spain, however, the goal was ruled offside.
Griezmann and co were in midst celbration as the Stade de France erupted but their joy was short lived after referee Felix Zwayer called in his video assistant to help.
The replay deemed Layvin Kurzawa to be offside as the ball was played into the box before he headed across to Griezmann who nodded the ball past David de Gea.

It may prove to be a fatal decision for the French after David Silva gave Spain the lead from the spot following Laurent Koscielny’s clumsy challenge on Gerard Deulofeu in the box.
Is it time that video assistance was brought in to the game across the top leagues?
