Hibs’ Marvin Bartley Appears to Go For Falkirk Player in Tweet After Win

Hibs’ Marvin Bartley Appears to Go For Falkirk Player in Tweet After Win

Marvin Bartley has appeared to have had a dig at a Falkirk player on Twitter after Hibs‘ big win against them today.

The Hibees midfielder played the full 90 minutes of the top of the Championship clash at Easter Road and would have been delighted at full-time after Neil Lennon’s took a big step towards the title.

Going into the game they led Falkirk and Morton by seven points so the importance of the result was crystal clear to both sides.

And it looked like Hibs might fail to extend that lead as they were being held at 1-1 by their opponents going into injury time.

But up popped James Keatings to fire home a goal worthy of winning any match – and set up Bartley to have a pop at someone from Falkirk on Twitter afterwards.

It’s not clear exactly who the Englishman is referring to, but it sounds like a Falkirk player wasn’t too polite after Craig Sibbald cancelled out Efe Ambrose’s opener in the 77th minute:

So who is Bartley referring to? We probably won’t find out, but it’s good to see some needle between the teams in what was a big game as the Championship approaches its finale.
