Javier Hernandez Shaves His Head After Losing Super Bowl Bet

Former Manchester United striker Javier Hernandez has proved he always keeps his word when it comes to bets – after shaving his head following a wager with a team-mate.

The Mexico internationalist – who currently plays for German Bundesliga side Bayer Leverkusen – bet that the Super Bowl would be won by the Atlanta Falcons – who went on to throw away an astonishing lead in the final against the New England Patriots.

A bet’s a bet, and as you can see from his Instagram post, the man known as ‘Little Pea’ has never looked more like a little pea after getting the clippers out:

Fair play for keeping his word, but wasn’t the Super Bowl last month? What took him so long to have the chop?

And for a man who always has a short haircut, he still manages to look drastically different when it’s shaved so short.

Still, well done, Javier. Maybe next time keep the bets to a £10 limit, though.
