Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho believes referee Michael Oliver cost his side the match this evening.
United crashed out of the FA Cup following a 1-0 loss to Chelsea at Stamford Bridge with N’Golo Kante netting the only goal of the game.
It’s the second time this season that Mourinho has lost on hos old stomping ground, however, he believes his side were not helped by the man in the middle.
Oliver sent off Ander Herrera early in the first half with the score at 0-0.
Replays have since gone on to show Herrera’s second to be slightly controversial and when asked about Oliver’s performance after the game, Mourinho tried his best to stay out of trouble.
Mourinho, "This season with Michael Oliver, a fantastic ref with great potential, we have been a little bit unlucky in his four games."

United have played four games under Oliver’s control this season, winning zero and conceding three penalties in draws with Everton and Liverpool, as well as a defeat to Watford.
Up next for Mourinho and his United side is Russian side Rostov in the Europa League last 16 second leg.
