Peter Lovenkrands Goes Viral.. For Looking Like Ridiculous Cristiano Ronaldo Bust

Peter Lovenkrands has officially went viral after joking that Cristiano Ronaldo‘s ridiculous bust at Madeira Airport was actually dedicated to him.

The former Rangers striker is very active on Twitter and, like the rest of us, followed events as the airport was renamed after the Real Madrid and Portugal hitman.

During the ceremony, a bust of Cristiano’s head was unveiled – but that ended up dominating headlines given it looked absolutely nothing like him.

Early comparisons were John Arne Riise and the head statue from Art Attack, but perhaps the best of all came from Lovenkrands, who joked that it was a tribute to him:

As you can see, the tweet has been retweeted over 1,700 times and liked a further 4,000 times.

And we can see why – the bust does look more like the Dane than it does Cristiano Ronaldo.

Amazingly, the man sculptor behind the bust claims the Real Madrid superstar actually likes it – which we absolutely cannot believe.
