Video: Tarik Elyounoussi Scores Beautiful Acrobatic Volley vs Besiktas

His team may be trailing in the second leg of their Europa League clash with Besiktas, but Olympiakos striker Tarik Elyounoussi has flicked the ‘game on’ switch with a exquisite goal.

The Greek champions were held to a 1-1 in the first leg, however, their European adventure was on the brink of collapse tonight with Besiktas taking a 2-0 lead through Vincent Aboubakar and Ryan Babel in the first 30 minutes.

That was until Elyounoussi executed a perfectly timed volley after connecting with Aly Cissokho’s inch-perfect cross.

In fairness, the Norweigan’s strike does take a slight deflection before rippling the back of the net, but it would surely be plain cruel for the dubious goals panel to take this one away:

 

And as if Elyounoussi’s goal wasn’t enough to give the Olympiakos reasons to dream, just 10 minutes later Besiktas’ first goal scorer Aboubakar was shown a straight red by the referee.

Game most definitely on then!
