The mayor of US city West Allis wore a Celtic strip to court yesterday after being told to wear green on St Patrick’s Day.
Dan Devine is the mayor of the Milwaukee County city in Wisconsin and is apparently a fan of the Hoops, given his St Paddy’s Day clothing choice.
Of course, it was the celebration of the Irish national holiday yesterday and, according to Devine, he was told to wear green for a visit to court.
So he chucked on an old Celtic away top and made sure to take a picture in front of his seat in the courthouse:

As you can see, the tweet has proven very popular with supporters of the Glasgow club – many of whom would have spent yesterday celebrating St Patrick’s Day.
Meanwhile, Celtic are busy preparing for their clash with Dundee at Dens Park tomorrow and they’ll be hoping to get the victory which will take them a step closer to the league title.
If Aberdeen lost to Hearts today then it would set Celtic up to tie up the title on Sunday. But Aberdeen are beating Hearts at the time of writing and if that stays that way then the Hoops could win it at Tynecastle next weekend.
