Video: Celtic Youngster Jack Aitchison Scores Brilliant Goal For Scotland U-17s

Celtic youngster Jack Aitchison continued to cement his status as one of Scotland’s most promising footballers tonight after scoring a brilliant goal for Scotland Under-17s.

Scot Gemmill’s youngsters face Montenegro at St. Mirren’s Paisley 2021 Stadium in first of three Uefa Elite Qualifying games tonight, and it took less than 10 minutes for the Hoops striker to find the net.

After killing the diagonal ball brilliantly, the 17-year-old proceeded to expertly swivel onto his left foot and coolly smash the ball into the top corner.

The Montenegro goalie was left looking absolutely helpless:

After becoming Celtic’s youngest-ever scorer last season, Aitchison has gone from strength to strength, making several first-team appearances for Brendan Rodgers’ side since.

Is he a superstar in the making? What do you think of the goal? And is he at the perfect club to progress into a regular senior star?
