Craig Levein is taking some stick from fans after being seen giving instructions to Jon Daly to pass to Ian Cathro and his management team during Hearts‘ clash with Aberdeen.

The Jambos Director of Football is at Pittodrie for the Scottish Premiership game against the Dons and, at around 34 minutes in, was seen speaking to coach Daly about something in the game.

The BT Sport cameras continue to follow Daly as he walks down the Pittodrie main stand before standing next to Hearts assistant Austin MacPhee and relaying the information Levein gave him.

And Chris Sutton was quick to pick up on it – asking just who is the Hearts manager? Cathro or Levein?

Fans have also been taking to Twitter to share their anger towards Levein, who was reportedly in the away dressing room at half-time after a disappointing first half which saw Aberdeen take a 1-0 lead:

Hearts fans – are you annoyed at Levein? Or should he be allowed to pass messages on?
